Open a image large enough to work with. 500 X 500 Transparent. You can change to other sizes once you learn the technique.
Open Brush (b)
Use these co-ordinates:
Shape Round
Size 15
Hardness 100
Step 100
Density 100
Thickness 100
Rotation 0
Opacity 100
Blend Mode-Normal
Stroke-Continuous
Once you have these co-ordinates set, go to presets and save them as Pearls. You will not have to reset them again.
You will only need to set the Foreground color. Any color will work as you will change this when using “Cutout”.
Hold down the left mouse button and draw your Pearls. You will find this very easy to do and with a little practice you will be a expert pretty fast.
Next step is the CutOut to give them some luster.
This is what I used and saved and named the preset something I can remember.
Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out
Vertical -3
Horizontal -2
Opacity 100
Blur 8.00
Shadow Color #a2a2bb
Fill Interior with Color # ffffff
Play with these settings until you are satisfied. I have found what would work with some pearl images may not work well with others.
